Comedian, actor and best selling author, Jay Mohr has been performing stand-up comedy since he was sixteen years old. With a career that has spanned over three decades, Jay has become an artist that is very difficult to define. Never wanting to rest on his accomplishments, Jay has always pushed himself to be more than just a comic.

After landing his dream job of Saturday Night Live, it appeared as though Jay had reached the height of comedic success. Little did he know that just three years later, he would be cast opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire and that same year co-star with Jennifer Anniston in Picture Perfect. Now the world that knew "comedian Jay" was quickly introduced to the "actor Jay." Never wanting to choose one career over the other, Mohr has brilliantly balanced both acting and stand-up comedy as roommates in his brain.

Additionally, he has continuously added other genres to his journey and wrote the best selling book Gasping for Airtime about his time on SNL and his battle with panic attacks throughout his tenure on the show. To this day the book remains a must read for both fans of the show, followers of Jay, as well as people who suffer from social anxiety, depression and panic disorders.

On a much lighter note, Jay's second book was the hilarious, No Wonder My Parents Drank, which describes in painful and beautifully funny detail the pros and cons of parenthood... which was subsequently optioned by ABC for development of a sitcom based on its content.

Jay Mohr is the rarest of entertainers. After 25 films and starring in his own groundbreaking series produced by Joel Silver and the late Ted Demme (Action) he starred in the CBS scripted comedy Gary Unmarried, which was critically acclaimed and was on for two seasons.

Jay has guest starred in over 50 different television dramas and comedy series episodes, but his role on an episode of Dick Wolf's Law and Order: Criminal Intent as a Charlie Sheen type character ripped from the headlines, garnered much attention and respect. "He's really good" said Wolf, "it's kind of odd because he is known as a comic and this is a highly dramatic role that a lot of dramatic actors would have had a very hard time eschewing and he does a great job." He added "... you know, it's like if you're playing tennis against a club champion, you're game should go up... the better the competition the better the game... and I think Jay really came to play."

Throughout his journey, Jay still loves performing stand-up comedy it's in his blood, his bones and his DNA. Anyone that has ever seen one of his concerts will be quick to tell you that there is no one better. Comedy Central agrees, having named Mohr one of the 100 greatest stand-up comics of all time. A simple bio doesn't do the stage show justice... as there are no notes, no two shows the same, and an act that never picks on the audience. These are the three tenets that Jay believes makes great live comedy, and the foundation is laid when Jay often tells his audiences, "Lets just jump off a cliff together and build our wings on the way down!"

Steph Tolev is a stand up and sketch comedian from Toronto, Canada currently living in Los Angeles. Her unique brand of absurd and personal comedy has made her an audience favorite across North America both on stage and on television. As a stand up, Steph has done the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal four times, three of which were taped for TV. Steph made her American TV debut on Comedy Central part of Bill Burr's new show "The Ringers". This past year she filmed her first half hour stand up special part of season two of "Unprotected Sets" airing on Epix. She was named one of Vultures "Comics You Should and Will Know" and one of Comedy Central's "Up Next" comics to watch. She also co-wrote and co-stars in the Comedy Central web series "Steph & Deb" . Steph can also be seen in the Amazon show "Please Understand Me" produced by Sarah Silverman and was featured in season two of "Corporate" on Comedy Central. Christopher Titus is a prolific stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and producer.

As a creator, he has sold shows to NBC, ABC, FOX and Comedy Central. His wildly innovative multi-cam half hour Titus premiered to critical and audience acclaim on Fox, earning the show an Emmy nomination, while Titus himself received a WGA Award nomination for his writing. Following Titus, Christopher starred in ABC’s Big Shots, acting opposite Dylan McDermott, Michael Vartan and Josh Malina.He also starred in the NBC one-hour pilot, Future Tense and created and starred in the Bryan Cranston-directed pilot, Special Unit for Comedy Central. Jeff Garlin’s talent encompasses writing, producing, directing, acting, stand-up comedy and photography.

He is known as the Executive Producer and co-star of the critically acclaimed HBO series “Curb YourEnthusiasm.”

Garlin’s Netflix stand-up special, “Jeff Garlin: Our Man in Chicago” is currently streaming on the platform. Filmed in his hometown, Chicago, the one-hour special is ripe with Garlin’s signature blend of storytelling and improv. 

His photo show “Big Bowl of Wonderful” has shown in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, and Boston.Upcoming, he will be releasing a book of his photography under the same name.

He has written, directed, and starred in three films, “Handsome,” the first Netflix murder mystery, “Dealing with Idiots,” and “I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With.” His extensive voice-over credits include Disney Pixar’s “WALL-E” (The Captain), “Toy Story 3” and “Toy Story 4” (Buttercup the Unicorn).

Steve Byrne has risen through the ranks of the comedy world to become one of the industry’s most innovative and sought-after performers. He has evolved throughout the years into an extremely versatile entertainer that delivers on a day-to-day basis. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Steve Byrne was born to a Korean mother and an Irish father. His unique background gave him the base comedic material for his first television show, Sullivan & Son, which aired for 3 seasons on TBS.

Byrne released his fourth hour stand up special entitled "Tell the Damn Joke" in early 2017. He previously released his third comedy special, Champion, on Netflix in May 2014. His popular podcast, The Gentlemen’s Dojo, premiered in late Aug. 2015 on All Things Comedy and is a passion project for Steve along with his co-host, Gary Cannon. He's currently in post production of a documentary he's directing on comedian/magician The Amazing Johnathan entitled "Always Amazing". Byrne is also developing his next venture into scripted television and a feature film script he's written based on his early years in stand up.

He began his career slugging it out in the comedy clubs of New York City and making the esteemed Comedy Cellar his home club all the while. In 2006, after winning TBS’ cutthroat competition, the “Standup or Sitdown Comedy Challenge”, Byrne was hurtled into a brilliant television and film career. As his popularity began to expand, Byrne was featured in his very own half-hour Comedy Central Presents which was soon voted as one of the best specials of all time in the Comedy Central Standup Showdown. His hilarious standup has been seen on TBS’s Conan, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS’s The Late Late Show, BET’s Comic View and he has appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show a total of 10 times.

In 2008, Byrne’s first one-hour special, Steve Byrne’s Happy Hour, premiered on Comedy Central and his second hour, The Byrne Identity premiered in 2010 and further cemented his star status.

A true international comedian, Byrne has performed to sold-out crowds around the world. He has been a featured comic at the Just for Laughs Festival (in Montreal, Toronto and Chicago), HBO’s US Comedy Arts Festival in Las Vegas and the CanWest Comedy Fest in Vancouver. He made his stand-up debut at just 16 years old and, six months later, won the title of Best Comedian in Kansas City at Stanford & Sons Comedy Club. He quickly became a regular at the club, hosting and opening for headliners like Dave Coulier, Carlos Mencia, TJ Miller, Michelle Wolf, and Iliza Shlesinger.

Billy Gardell currently stars in the CBS series Bob Hearts Abishola, from award-winning creator, executive producer and writer Chuck Lorre. Bob Hearts Abishola is a love story about a middle- aged compression sock businessman from Detroit who unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse, a Nigerian immigrant, while recovering from a heart attack and sets his sights on winning her over. Undaunted by Abishola’s lack of initial interest or the vast differences in their backgrounds, Bob is determined to win Abishola’s heart, in this comedic examination of immigrant life in America.

Prior to BHA, Billy Gardell starred in the CBS hit television series, Mike & Molly as Officer Mike Biggs from 2010-2016. Mike & Molly continues to air in syndication to this day. In addition, he starred as Col. Tom Parker in the CMT series, Sun Records and has had a recurring role on another CBS hit series, Young Sheldon. In 2016 he received a daytime Emmy nomination as best gameshow host for Monopoly Millionaires Club.

Before Mike & Molly, Gardell co-starred in the critically acclaimed television series Lucky. His other television credits include Yes Dear and Judging Amy, on the Network, My Name is Earl, The Practice, Monk and Gary the Rat. He made his major motion picture debut alongside Anthony Quinn and Sylvester Stallone in Avenging Angelo, and had a memorable scene with Billy Bob Thornton in the Cohen Brother’s film Bad Santa. He also appeared in You, Me & Dupree.

As a standup, Gardell took the long road to Hollywood, stopping at every small town lounge, military base and comedy club along the way. His comedy act took him to Los Angeles where his dedication to acting, along with touring as a stand-up comedian, allowed him to grow consistently in both arenas. His stand-up show is a powerhouse. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong chord with American audiences. Stories about his rough childhood, wild adolescence and new family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman.

His one-man show has set comedy club attendance records across North America. Orley’s journey to becoming the country’s hippest hypnotist of his time began when he bought a book in the 6th grade called “How to Pick Up Girls Through Hypnotism.” Although the advice in that particular book did not pay off, Orley became obsessed with the subject, realizing the creative potential and learned everything he could about it. Flip studied psychology at University of Arizona with the intention of becoming a clinical hypnotist. It was while majoring in psychology at the University of Arizona, however, that Orley discovered stand-up comedy.

Hypnosis took second place for a time as Orley honed his comedic skills in small clubs around the country eventually merging the two. The rest is comedy club history as marquees across the nation invariably read “Flip Orley/Held Over By Popular Demand,” for up to 12 weeks at a time.

Realizing the value of the clinical side of hypnotism, Flip developed techniques in seminars and workshops to help people get in touch with their inner strength through the power of their own subconscious minds. Orley’s self-help CD’s address a variety of issues such as, stress management, weight control, quitting smoking and sleep disorders. Dentists, doctors and patients who are allergic to anesthesia have called upon Flip’s abilities. Orley assisted one dentist who operated on a patient for almost 2 hours without an anesthetic. Randy and Jason Sklar began as one zygote and later guest starred in many TV shows including an Emmy Award winning episode of HBO’s CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, the FX hit IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, Adult Swim’s CHILDRENS’ HOSPITAL, and most recently in USA Network’s critically acclaimed comedy PLAYING HOUSE, IFC’s hit show MARON, and multiple Season 3 episodes of BETTER CALL SAUL. You can also catch them in the upcoming season of GLOW on Netflix. In addition, the Sklars recently appeared in Comedy Central’s ROAST BATTLE III and CNN’s THE HISTORY OF COMEDY.

The Sklars starred as conjoined twins in a memorable episode of GREY’S ANATOMY, and as warring agents on HBO's ENTOURAGE, of which Entertainment Weekly television critic Paul Katz wrote, “in the hands of comedic masters, The Sklar Brothers, they made it soar.” The Sklars have also appeared in such films as Touchstone's WILD HOGS, Fox Atomic’s THE COMEBACKS, and the popular Netflix movie TEACHER OF THE YEAR alongside Keegan Michael Key, Larry Joe Campbell and Jamie Kaler.

The Sklars also hosted the critically acclaimed History Channel docu-comedy THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA which highlighted the ways in which statistics tell the story of the US and appeared monthly on Showtime’s JIM ROME ON SHOWTIME in their regular segment “Sklarred For Life,” where they took a humorous look at the past month in sports.

In November of 2006, Randy and Jason wrapped the fourth and final season of their cult classic comedy series CHEAP SEATS on ESPN Classic, and wrote and appeared in regular segment “The Bracket” on ESPN's SportsCenter from 2008 to 2009. In addition, the Sklars regularly fill in as guest hosts for Jim Rome on his popular nationally syndicated radio show.

As stand-up comedians, the Sklars recorded their second half hour COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS special in November 2009, which premiered in March 2010. The Onion A.V. Club named the Sklars’ third comedy album HENDERSON AND DAUGHTERS in their Top 10 Comedy albums of 2011. In April 2014, the Sklars recorded and released a one-hour stand-up special and album titled THE SKLAR BROTHERS: WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT on Netflix to rave reviews.

The Sklars later released another one-hour special – HIPSTER GHOSTS – on the Starz Network in May 2018. Neil Strausse of The New York Times said of the Sklars, “Their comedy accepts the reality of being twins but does not use it as a crutch. Instead they work with their physical and mental similarities and correspondences, their status as imperfect carbon copies of each other. In their comedy, the straight man is often an echo."

ELLYN MARSH

Ellyn thinks that being on stage with her best friend, Joey is basically just like a Tuesday night in her living room. After opening the Broadway show “Kinky Boots” with him they unfortunately have way too much dirt on each other and are in it for life at this point. As co-hosts of the true crime podcast “I Think Not,” Ellyn and Joey take great pleasure in making you laugh through the pain and then giving you a little bait and switch in your feels.

She also appeared on Broadway in Pretty Woman; Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and some plays (who sees those?). Ellyn recently was seen in the Disney movie Better Nate Than Ever and can also be heard as a singing troll in Frozen. She’s bringing all of her musical theater references to the world of her other passion, true crime! After reporting on missing persons cases for three years, she’s decided to shake it up a bit with a variety of cases from classic true crime TV shows.

Ellyn can also be heard on “Shut the F*ck Up Nick Lachey,” a “Love is Blind” recap podcast, with fellow (Tony decorated) Broadway superstar, Daisy Eagan.

JOEY TARANTO

Joey is beyond excited to be playing with Ellyn on stage again. Wait, that sounded...you know what? Never mind. After years of working together on Broadway, the two decided they weren’t quite done bothering the general public — and thus, I Think Not was born. Together, they’ve lovingly cultivated their own brand of “stupid” and deeply enjoy squawking into your ears.

Cue the dramatic credits scroll: Joey made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages, followed by the original companies of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (yes, that one) and Kinky Boots. There are more theater credits, but you get the idea — there were sequins, there were high notes, there were lots of wigs.

Joey is also thrilled to be attached to Cyndi Lauper's brand-new Broadway musical, Working Girl, which will premiere its first performances at La Jolla Playhouse in fall of 2025. He’d love nothing more than to see you there — and hug your neck, of course.

Jon Lovitz has been one of the best known comedians for the last thirty five years. He got his start acting in High School plays and developing his skills at the University of California, Irvine where he earned a B.A. in Drama. He also studied acting with Tony Barr at the Film Actors Workshop. At the advice of Tony Barr, Jon decided to concentrate solely on comedy.

He began taking classes with the famous improv comedy group, “The Groundlings” in 1982. One year later, after being accepted into “The Sunday Company”, Jon got his first acting job on the television show “The Paper Chase: the Second Year”. Thinking he was on his way, he promptly quit his job at a clothing store…and became a messenger. The next three years – nothing!!! Then, in September of 1984, he was accepted into the main company at “The Groundlings”.

On March 28, 1985, “The Groundlings” appeared on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” where Jon premiered his character “Tommy Flanagan of Pathological Liars Anonymous”. Following the introduction of this persona, Jon got an agent, and booked a movie, a series, a voice over for a cartoon, and “Saturday Night Live”.

Jon has been working non-stop since. He was nominated for an Emmy his first two years on “Saturday Night Live”. While on SNL, he became known for his characters “Tommy Flanagan of the Pathological Liars Anonymous” (“Year, that’s the ticket”), “Master Thespian”, “Hanukkah Harry”, and “the Devil”. He has appeared in numerous films, including “Big”, “A League of Their Own”, “The Wedding Singer”, “High School High”, “Small Time Crooks”, “Rat Race”, “The Producers”, “Eight Crazy Nights”, “The Benchwarmers”, and “Grown Ups 2”, among many others. He has also worked with acclaimed directors such as Penny Marshall, Rob Reiner, Jerry Zucker, and Woody Allen.

Along with his comedy, Jon is well known for his distinctive voice. He was the lead voice for the character “Jay Sherman” in the acclaimed cult cartoon series, “The Critic”. He has also appeared in twelve episodes of “The Simpsons”, even creating the character of Marge Simpson’s boyfriend, “Artie Ziff” (who sounds suspiciously like Jay Sherman).

Jon has also appeared on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre in Neil Simon’s play “The Dinner Party”, taking over the lead role from Henry Winkler. He has sung (yes, he can sing!) at Carnegie Hall three times (including “Great Performances: Ira Gershwin at 100: A Celebration at Carnegie Hall) and sung the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium and the U.S. Open. He also sang with English rock star, Robbie Williams at the Royal Alpert Hall and appears on his album, “Swing While You’re Winning!”

Jon has also had an illustrious television career. He was the first famous guest star on the hit show “Friends”. In the same week, he appeared on an episode of Seinfeld. Jon also had a recurring roles on “Hot in Cleveland”, “Las Vegas”, “Two and a Half Men”, “Hawaii Five-O”, and “New Girl”.

For the last ten years Jon has pursued a career as a stand-up comedian. He is one of the few performers to start as an actor and then become a stand-up comedian who successfully headlines nightclubs, theatres, and casinos across the country.

In 2015, Jon is set to appear in “Killing Hasselhoff”, “The Ridiculous 6”, and “Bark Ranger”, as well as headline numerous comedy shows across the country.

Aaron Weber is a standup comedian based in Nashville, TN and is a regular performer at the world famous Grand Ole Opry.
