Jay Jurden is a New York based comedian, writer and actor. Originally from Mississippi, Jay regularly performs comedy all over the country and was a Staff Writer for Apple TV+'s Emmy-nominated show, The Problem With Jon Stewart. Jay has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon three times and has also been seen on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central Featuring, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and HBO’s High Maintenance.

Jay was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch in 2022. His album, Jay Jurden Y'all, debuted #1 on iTunes. Jay has written for numerous publications including: Vulture, Teen Vogue, McSweeney's, and The New Yorker. He has also written for Marvel's Voices: X-Men #1. He was listed on Vulture's Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2020 and was selected to be featured in Just for Laughs Festival's New Faces in 2019.

Comedyschools.com is the longest-running comedy workshop in the Valley. Now in its twenty-fourth year, Comedyschools has seen its students go from the very first class to national television. Past students have become regulars on Saturday Night Live and long-term cast members on TV shows, including The Walking Dead! Our alumni have been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, HBO, and more.

Head Instructor Tony Vicich is a former touring stand-up comic who appeared on classic stand-up shows, Evening at the Improv, MTV ½ Hour Comedy Hour, The Showtime Comedy All Stars, and Comedy Central.

Celebrated for her dynamic and tremendously engaging performances, Jen Kober is one of the top LGBTQ comedians working today. Kober is a powerhouse of funny, and she has made a significant impact in the comedy realm, appearing on popular television shows including “The Righteous Gemstones,” “The Mandalorian,” “Diary of a Future President” and “American Horror Story.” She also earned the award for Best Comedic Performance on NPR’s hit storytelling show, “Snap Judgement,” and is the headlining comedian for Cirque Du Soleil’s hit Las Vegas show MAD APPLE.

You may know Ryan Niemiller as the disarmingly handsome comedian and 3rd place finalist from America's Got Talent Season 14. Josh Johnson is an Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comedian, actor, and NAACP award-winner from Louisiana by way of Chicago. He was just named as the newest correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy & Peabody Award-winning program The Daily Show where he was previously a writer for the past six years. Johnson is also a former writer and performer on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he made his late-night debut in 2017. In addition, he is Comedy Central’s ‘most watched comedian ever’ with 40M+ views to date across their platforms.

As a stand-up, Johnson headlines theaters, clubs, colleges, and festivals around the world. In 2015, he was named one of Comedy Central’s “Comic to Watch”, in 2016 a “New Face” at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, in 2018 the winner of the “New York's Funniest” competition at the New York Comedy Festival and in 2021 he was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch”.

Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his MTV show “Totally Pauly” hit the airwaves to major fan approval. The show ran for six years, leading Pauly to a one-hour HBO comedy special, “Pauly Does Dallas,” and starring roles in films like “Jury Duty,” “In the Army Now,” “Bio-Dome,” “Encino Man,” “Son In Law,” and “A Goofy Movie.”

Pauly went on to produce and star in several of his own projects, including “Pauly Shore is Dead,” as well as the comedy specials “Vegas is My Oyster,” starring Andy Dick, Tom Green, Bobby Lee, and “Pauly-Tics,” starring Herman Cain and Larry King.

In 2014, he released “Pauly Shore Stands Alone,” a true-life road documentary that follows Pauly as he performs in obscure towns throughout Wisconsin while dealing with his personal life. It appeared on Showtime and is available on Amazon Prime. Other recent projects include Adam Sandler's "Sandy Wexler," the short film "Sin City Psycho” and Dreamwork’s animated “The Big Trip.” In 2020, Pauly stars in Lionsgate’s recently released movie, “Guest House" (available now on Digital and On Demand).

He frequently opens for Shane Gillis and Hasan Minhaj in sold out stadiums across America. 

Over the years, he has performed on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT. He has been featured on "TimeOut LA’s Comics to Watch" and "Vulture’s 20 Comics to Watch" lists. He was named a New Face at the 2016 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

Sean Patton stars as “Markie Hillridge,” the gym teacher and athletic director at Morrison-Hensley High. Markie is an affable but cocky Texan who considers himself an alpha male. But he can be surprisingly kind and resourceful, often helping Evan out of jams. He’s confused and annoyed at times by the changing world around him and has a habit of over-simplifying things. He has a soft spot for Gwen… maybe even a little bit of a crush.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Sean Patton is a comedian, writer, storyteller and performer based in New York.

As a stand-up, Patton has appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs (JFL) Chicago, JFL Toronto, JFL Montreal (2008, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2018), Moontower Comedy Festival, RIOT L.A. Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, SXSW, Outside Lands Festival, Dublin International Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Bonnaroo and Nashville Comedy Festival. Patton’s second album, “Scuttlebutt,” was released December 2019, and his third album, “King Scorpio,” was released in December 2021. His first hour-long special, Number One, executive produced by Michael Che, premiered on Peacock in December 2022. The corresponding album was released in the summer of the following year.

In 2023, Patton accompanied David Cross on his “Worst Daddy in the World” tour spanning 66 cities, six countries and two continents. Kelly Ryan started stand up at the age of 17 in NYC. While getting her B.S. in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University, she performed improv for four years and taught the art form for three. At TCU, she got to open for SNL’s Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant, as well as NBC’s Retta and BJ Novak.

Since moving to LA in 2016, Kelly can now be seen performing on any given night. Her “home club” is the iconic Hollywood Improv and she is in development at The Comedy Store.

During the pandemic, Kelly moved to Portland where she continued standup when possible. In August of 2021 she was named the winner of the Portland’s Funniest Person competition at Helium Comedy Club.

This year, she can be seen headlining and featuring for acts like Anthony Jeselnik, Bert Kreischer, Whitney Cummings and more.

Kevin Nealon is an Emmy and SAG-nominated actor and comedian who sets himself apart from other comedic performers with his unique sense of humor, dry wit and likable demeanor. Nealon is best known for his nine-year stint as a cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and received critical acclaim for his role in the hit Showtime series Weeds. Kevin currently produces and hosts his digital series Hiking with Kevin, and tours his stand-up globally. He will be releasing his latest book, I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame (Abrams), on October 25, 2022. Part art book, part memoir -- the book is full of original full-color caricatures Kevin has created along with funny, endearing personal essays about his famous friends.

Nealon’s extensive television credits include the CBS sitcom, Man With a Plan, in which he starred alongside Matt LeBlanc; Showtime’s Weeds, which ran for eight seasons and was honored at the 2006, 2007 and 2009 Golden Globes with nominations for “Best Television Series Comedy or Musical.” In 2007 and 2009, Weeds was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.” Additional television roles include two critically acclaimed stand-up specials for Showtime; and a number of appearances on Hot In Cleveland, Franklin & Bash, Monk, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Still Standing.

Nealon’s self-produced, edited, and hosted web series Hiking with Kevin is exclusively available on his YouTube channel of the same name. In the series, Kevin interviews his A-list celebrity friends on hikes throughout the country. Past guests include Michael Keaton, Jimmy Kimmel, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Cheryl Hines, Ray Romano, Al Franken, Hilary Swank, Kumail Nanjiani, Kate Beckinsale, Conan O’Brien, Adam Sandler, and more.

Nealon has found great comedic success in his extensive film career. In Anger Management, he played opposite Jack Nicholson and fellow SNL comedian, Adam Sandler. He and Sandler also teamed up in Eight Crazy Nights, The Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, Just Go With It, Blended, and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, the latter of which grossed over $200 million worldwide. In Joe Dirt, Nealon joined another SNL alumnus David Spade. Additional film credits include Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy, Good Boy with Molly Shannon, Bucky Larsen: Born to be a Star with Nick Swardson, Roxanne with Steve Martin and the cult hit Grandma’s Boy, also with Nick Swardson and Jonah Hill.

As one of the longest running cast members on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (1986-1995), Nealon created some of the show’s most memorable characters, including ‘The Subliminal Man’ and ‘Hans and Franz.’ Nealon’s recurring role as an anchor on ‘Weekend Update’ helped make the sketch a show staple. In 1988, he earned an Emmy nomination as part of the SNL writing team.

In 2008, Nealon released his first book, Yes, You’re Pregnant, But What About Me? - a comical look at the male perspective of pregnancy.

Currently, Kevin resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.

A Seattle native now suffering in Southern California, Dustin Nickerson is an in demand comic on the rise. In 2020, he released his debut comedy special Overwhelmed which is currently one of the highest rated specials on Amazon Prime Video.

In addition, he’s been featured on Comedy Central and Netflix by Kevin Hart, the Late Late Show with James Corden, Fox, Hulu and can regularly be heard on Sirius Radio XM. Online, his stand-up clips and jokes have received tens of millions of views and his podcast, Don’t Make Me Come Back There, has over a million downloads.

He’s also the author of How to be Married be Married to Melissa, an Amazon #1 New Release published by Harper Collins in June 2022.
